1:1 coaching for the long game of life beyond alcohol

Still sober. Still wondering: What now?

Sobriety wasn’t the finish line. It was the foundation

You’ve changed – but life around you hasn’t caught up.

A person extending their arm upward with an open hand, reaching for another person's hand or offering help, with a partly cloudy sky in the background.

I’m an ICF-accredited, trauma-responsive coach with lived experience and two decades in HR, behaviour, identity, and change.
I understand this stage because I’ve lived it — and I’m trained to hold it with you.

You didn’t quit drinking to plateau in some muted version of yourself.

You did it because something in you knew there was more actual living to do.

Beyond Sober coaching supports everything that comes after — the questions, the stuck bits, the subtle shifts.

For the moments when life still gets complicated and you want to stay steady through it.

This is coaching for the ongoing work of long-term sobriety — where life keeps unfolding, and so do you.

Let's Talk

What is Beyond Sober coaching?

It’s for people who’ve already stopped drinking and realised that was only the start.

Maybe life looks fine on paper, but feels flat or mismatched underneath.
Maybe you’ve changed, but the world around you hasn’t adjusted.
Maybe you’re navigating emotional intensity you didn’t expect.

Beyond Sober coaching brings together trauma-responsive practice, lived experience of long-term sobriety, and two decades of professional work in HR, behaviour, identity, and change.

This is support for the part of sobriety most people reach alone: the in-between.

This isn’t early-sobriety support or accountability coaching.

And it isn’t therapy.

Together, we protect what’s solid, strengthen what’s shaky, and build what’s next.

The work we do together often includes:

Clarity and direction

  • Understanding what you want now

  • Making decisions that align with who you are

  • Letting your internal clarity lead your external choices

Identity and self-trust

  • Rebuilding trust with yourself

  • Recognising who you are without old roles or coping strategies

  • Stepping out of outdated patterns and into what fits now

Relationships and boundaries

  • Navigating relationships that changed when the drinking stopped

  • Setting boundaries without guilt or over-explaining

  • Making sense of perfectionism, people-pleasing, over-functioning or control habits

Care and capacity

  • Learning how to rest instead of push through

  • Expanding your emotional bandwidth

  • Asking for and receiving support without apology

Creating a life that fits

  • Building steady habits and rhythms

  • Shaping a life that actually supports how you want to feel

  • Living with intention rather than reaction

What this isn’t

Beyond Sober coaching isn’t the usual sobriety support.
It’s something different — and intentionally so.

  • Not early-sobriety coaching

  • Not a programme or fixed curriculum

  • Not accountability or behaviour management

  • Not therapy

This is trauma-responsive, practical, evolving support for the part of sobriety most people reach alone: the in-between.

How it works

How it works

1. Apply
Share a little about where you are in your sober life and what’s stirring (or not).

2. Connect
A free 30-minute conversation to see if this feels like the right fit.

3. Begin
A 75-minute deep-dive session, then ongoing sessions at a pace that suits you.

Coaching works particularly well in long-term sobriety because you’re not beginning again — you’re evolving. You don’t need fixing; you need space, pace, and perspective so your life can catch up with who you’ve become.

Between sessions

All packages include a 75-minute first session, 60-minute follow-ups, and optional WhatsApp check-ins — for reflections, questions, and those mid-thought moments when something shifts.
You’ll also receive suggestions for tools or resources if something feels relevant.

This isn’t a fixed programme.
It’s bespoke, responsive support that moves with you — in the direction you’re actually growing.

Your coaching options

You’ve already done the hard bit — getting sober.

This is about what comes after.

Six-session package - £750

A longer partnership for exploration, reflection and change. For when something is shifting and you want support as you grow into it.

Three-session package – £425

A shorter container to help you find clarity and momentum.

Single session – £150

A focused 60 minutes to pause, reflect and see where you are. Useful as a reset or a first step if you are unsure what you want or need.

Why a longer package?

Change takes time — especially the kind that lasts.
Most people tell me the longer packages give them the continuity they need to integrate change, not just understand it.

Instalments are possible for packages — please do ask.

Things that people often tell me before we start?

  • You’re capable. That’s not the point. This is about space, reflection, and support — not capability.
Sometimes it’s hard to see yourself clearly from the inside.
Coaching can help you untangle things and explore new ways forward.

  • It often feels indulgent when you’ve spent years over-functioning or minimising your needs.
    It isn’t indulgent — it’s necessary.

  • You don’t need to know. That’s part of the work. Sometimes it starts with a conversation, a question, or just a sense that something’s shifting - or needs to.

  • No. Most people I work with aren’t in crisis. They’re in the in-between — functioning, sober, aware something’s shifting, ready for more clarity.

  • That makes sense. Trust takes time. You won’t be pushed and we move at your pace. You choose what you bring and when.

  • No - This is trauma-responsive coaching for the ongoing discovery of life after alcohol: practical support that moves with you as you grow. Coaching looks ahead, not back.
We might talk about what shaped you, but the focus is on how you want to live now.
